Aegis Connect Global LLC ("ACG", "we", "us") is a company registered in the State of Delaware, United States (2093 Philadelphia Pike #7585, Claymont, DE 19703). We operate the platform at aegisconnectglobal.com connecting verified security professionals with international organisations.

2. Data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

Account data: name, email address, username, password (encrypted)
Profile data: nationality, country of residence, languages, years of experience, speciality, LinkedIn profile, profile photo
Verification documents: passport/ID, criminal record certificate, service records, qualifications, driving licences, references, CV — submitted voluntarily for the Blue Check verification process
Payment data: processed exclusively by Stripe. ACG does not store card details.
Usage data: login activity, pages visited, job listing views, course interactions
Referral data: referral codes used, users referred, rewards earned
Company data: company name, contact details, type of business — for organisations registered on the platform

3. How we use your data

To provide and operate the ACG platform and its services
To perform the Blue Check career history verification process
To share verified operator profiles with approved partner companies (Blue Check operators only, with operator consent)
To send transactional and service emails (membership confirmations, verification updates, subscription reminders)
To send marketing communications (you may opt out at any time)
To administer the referral and rewards programme
To comply with legal obligations

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Contract performance: processing necessary to provide the services you have subscribed to
Consent: for verification document processing and profile sharing with companies
Legitimate interest: for platform security, fraud prevention and service improvement
Legal obligation: where required by applicable law

5. Data sharing

We share your data only with:

Approved partner companies — verified operator profiles (Blue Check) are shared with companies that have been vetted and approved by ACG, for legitimate recruitment purposes only
Independent verifiers — members of our global verification network who sign a Verification Collaboration Agreement and are bound by strict confidentiality obligations
Service providers — Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting). All bound by data processing agreements.
Legal authorities — where required by law or court order

We never sell personal data to third parties.

6. Verification documents

Documents submitted for Blue Check verification are used exclusively for the verification process. They are stored securely and are only accessible to authorised ACG verifiers. Upon completion of the verification process, documents are retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted upon account closure unless legal obligations require longer retention.

7. Data retention

Account data: retained while your account is active and for 3 years after closure
Verification documents: retained for the duration of your subscription + 1 year
Payment records: 7 years (legal requirement)
Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent
